We, the Coastal Quarks, are a new team of 13 – 15 year old kids who get together and build and program robots for FTC (First Tech Challenge). Our team is made up of five people; Elijah, age 13; Kirk, age 14; Brennan, age 15; Noa, age 13; and Ciara age 13. Noa, Kirk, and Elijah go to regular schools, but Ciara and Brennan home school.

Almost every week we get together and build robots in Mission Beach. The robot that we are currently working on is designed to shoot whiffle balls into different goals for the HotShot game.

 This season we will be competing in San Diego, Las Vegas, and San Jose.   Brennan and Ciara also mentored a second place winning FLL team.
